This article argues both sides of the arguement 'support our troop'.  The author talks about how Americans should support troops but at the same time we have the right to protest against if we are fighting for something other than freedom.  To a degree we should support troops but not to where we are protesting unethically to make a political point and sacrificing the troops moral.

This article talks about the World Trade Organization protesting in 1999.  The author shares the timeline of the events that transpired during the WTO protesting. He starts off with background on the WTO and why Seattle was pick as the location.  He then explains major protesting groups and how Seattle tried to prepare for the protesting population.  Oldham went into detail what the protesters did that caused the Seattle mayor to issue a state of emergency. This is the second article in a serious on the event.

This article explains the events that transpired when Earth First! protesters fought against logger in the Redwood Forest.  Earth First! are very close to eccoterrosits.  The author details the events of the protest leading to the arrest of numerous.

This article details the exploits of a radical animal rights group, People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals (PETA).  Several protesters chose public nudity to make a statement in Harvard Square but they ended up getting arrested.

The author writes about anti-abortion protesters that engaged in disruptive behavior like blocking clinical doors.  The case ends up in the Supreme Court but the ruling cannot prosecute the protesters.  Protesters did not commit extortion though they cause disruption and obstruction.
