In MS Word

- In MSWord, click "File-->Info-->Check for Issues-->Inspect Document-->Inspect. You will see an option to delete author information if it is found.
- In MacWord, file -> properties -> summary. But sometimes your name will reappear if you go back into the summary box. To really erase it, Word -> Preferences -> User Information -> Any name (but yours) -> Check Box
