1st Philosophical Analysis Paper Topics

Address one of the following two topics in a 4-6 pages, typed, double spaced.

Topics:

1. Present a philosophical account of the nature of love along with the rationales that support it. As in the Symposium, indicate what sort of reality love is, it's nature, main characteristics, purpose (if any), or connection with other realities.

2. What sort of confidence should we have about our knowledge of the world? Do we know the world directly and with absolute certainty? If so, what is the source of this certainty? Give your epistemology, along with the rationales that support it.
