Deméré, Thomas A, and Steve Walsh. "Creationism Should Not Be Taught in Public Schools." At Issue: Religion and Education. Ed. Tom Head. San Diego: Greenhaven Press, 2005. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center. Gale. This article focuses on defining creationism and discussing whether or not it is science or religion. It explores the argument that evolution cannot be proven to be true and creationism cannot be proven to be false, so both should be taught. This theory comes from Creationists whom the author believes to be incorrect because he believes that science is taught in schools to teach kids how to accurately observe and understand scientific theories in order to function in the 21st century.
