Jenna 1. My roommate Alex has been having stomach problems. Her mom has a wheat allergy, so she decided to try cutting wheat from her diet for a few weeks to see if that would help. She thought that her mom's allergy might be something that she (my roommate) was also genetically predisposed to. 2. Alex and I went to stay with a family friend of hers named Nancy in Chelan, Washington. Nancy didn't tell us where we were going in the car one day and she ended up taking us to a casino. Alex and I are both 19 and and had yet to spend a few dollars in a casino, and Nancy believed that a casino trip was a "right of passage" for people who are over 18. 3. Last night I was watching the tv show "The Nanny". In the episode, the main character Fran finds out that her ex-boyfriend is engaged. In her despair over the fact that her ex was getting married before her, Fran starts spending outrageous amounts of money. She believed that shopping would help her fill an emotional hole and feelings of inadequacy.
