Summary In this article the author says many people blame their obesity on health issues such as glands or family history, however he says there are many other reasons. Summary In this article the author discusses the effects of childhood obesity and makes note of the role the parents are playing in the promotion of their children's health. Some issues covered in this article include the lack of exercise among children and how it may contribute to their health later in life. Also, this article talks about how obesity among children is beginning in the womb before they are even born.

Obesity Socially Contagious?

Summary/Reconstruction It was really surprising. A study found that being friends or being close to someone who becomes obese greatly increases one's chances of becoming obese as well.
